My Real Truth

Please read what I write here with an open mind. 🙏

“Why me ?”

“Why did this happen to me ?”

These were some of the initial questions that plagued me in the early stages of my recovery, following a horrific motorcycle accident.

I had sustained a severe Traumatic Brain Injury as well as numerous other life threatening injuries and had no idea why the Universe chose me to experience this hell.

All the relationships that were important to me before my accident came to an end.

Only when I looked inside myself and questioned my beliefs and then changed how I went about my life, did I start to find the answers to my questions and learn about MY Real Truth.

Surviving my motorcycle accident and learning to live with a Traumatic Brain Injury has been extremely difficult but it has forced me to learn things about myself that I previously didn’t pay attention to.

I also learned to believe in myself.

The following is an excellent quote that is very significant for me from the Apple TV Series, “Ted Lasso”.

”I realize it didn’t happen to me, it happened for me”.

This is how I now feel about my accident and the subsequent health challenges I have been forced to learn about and live with.

Open your mind and look very deep what you will find will be yours to keep.

No matter what happens, “YOU” will always be “YOU.”

The “YOU” that is here now, is the same “YOU” who was present during your difficult times.

The person who is aware of what “YOU” are aware of, is here now and was also there in your past.

However frightening or terrible some experiences might seem to be, your “I” will be OK.

Continue to find ways to keep yourself strong in your Now. 🙏
