Anthony Aquan-Assee

Anthony Aquan-Assee is a Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor who is currently living with aggressive, stage IV metastatic prostate cancer.

After teaching with the Toronto District School Board for 30 years, he continues to serve others through his weekly volunteer work at St. Michael’s Hospital.

Since 1999, Anthony has volunteered in the Trauma and Neurosurgery ICU and now also plays his guitar for the patients in the Medical-Surgical ICU and the Palliative Care Unit ,in memory of his mother.

Anthony is also a motivational speaker, author, and aspiring musician.
