Memories

Memory is everywhere, similar to Air. Unfortunately, memory is often taken for granted. Many people do not realize that memory is extremely important to thinking.

The memory challenges that Brain Injury Survivors often experience may keep the survivor existing in the present moment (or the NOW), as their past and future might cease to meaningfully exist.

Without memories, someone may spend more of their energy on just trying to survive rather than fully experiencing and appreciating their life.

What can be done about this ? Listen to music

Fortunately, listening to music may help someone activate and unlock forgotten memories.

So, go listen to some of your favourite songs and this may help you to revive some memories from your past.
